QA Tester

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through rigorous testing and validation processes. You will work closely with developers and project managers to identify issues, suggest improvements, and contribute to the overall enhancement of our software solutions.

Duties

• Conduct functional testing of software applications to ensure they meet specified requirements.
• Execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software releases.
• Collaborate with development teams for release management, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
• Perform debugging and troubleshooting of software issues reported by users or identified during testing.
• Test RESTful web services and APIs to validate their functionality and performance.
• Provide technical support for identified issues, assisting in resolving defects in a timely manner.
• Utilize tools such as Visual Studio and GitHub for version control and project management.
• Document test results, report defects, and track progress using appropriate tools.

Experience

• Proven experience in software quality assurance with a focus on functional testing.
• Familiarity with Android application testing is a plus.
• Strong understanding of release management processes within a development lifecycle.
• Experience working with RESTful web services and web applications.
• Proficiency in debugging techniques and tools.
• Knowledge of version control systems like GitHub is preferred.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail, ensuring thorough testing coverage.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Pay: $22.71 - $27.35 per hour
