Senior Java Developer (Pennington or Charlotte)

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Senior Java Developer (Pennington or Charlotte) to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Java Developer (Pennington or Charlotte), you will be an integral part of the Software Development Department supporting innovative business solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent collaboration skills, strong technical expertise, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Senior Java Developer (Pennington or Charlotte)

Location: Pennington, NJ (onsite) or Charlotte, NC (onsite)

What's the Job?

• Design, develop, and enhance scalable Java applications supporting core business functions
• Debug, support, and maintain existing software solutions to ensure optimal performance
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including testing and deployment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement innovative technology solutions
• Provide technical guidance and system architecture insights for complex projects

What's Needed?

• Proficiency in Java 8/21, JAX-RS (REST), Java EE (CDI, JPA, Bean Validation, JMS, JNDI, JDBC, JSP, Servlets)
• Experience with Elasticsearch, XML, SQL, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring MVC, Spring Framework, RESTEasy, Hibernate, Mockito, Cucumber
• Strong understanding of Microservices architecture, Kafka, and MongoDB
• Hands-on experience with reactive programming, Redis, and OpenShift is preferred
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
