Duties: Control and manage daily testing activities for assigned applications and functional areas. Lead functional, performance, and integration testing efforts, while expanding testing coverage to include security, usability, and operability testing. Create detailed test cases and scripts for technical and business stakeholders, and apply testing criteria in the review and approval of business requirements, functional specifications, and system designs. Design and maintain the overall testing strategy, communicate testing results and findings to key stakeholders, and identify, prepare, and manage test data in collaboration with business and technology teams. Oversee testing methodologies, tools, and development activities related to test analysis, scripting, and execution, and design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and both manual and automated test scripts. Assess quality risks through verification and validation techniques, identify potential issues, develop mitigation strategies, and establish quality assurance metrics to evaluate delivered applications. Collaborate with IT Release Management to support capacity planning, release planning, scheduling, and reporting, ensuring that all interfacing applications and support teams are engaged throughout the testing and release process. Monitor release-level risks and issues, manage service level agreements, serve as a liaison with Service and Delivery Management, and produce service level reporting and scorecards. Implement, maintain, monitor, and audit software testing and quality assurance processes to ensure compliance and effectiveness. Act as a subject matter expert on service-level risks, defects, and issue management, partnering with development and business teams to resolve escalations and defects. Approve access service requests for testing environments and ensure appropriate system, application, and tool access to support testing activities. Participate in quarterly root cause analysis reviews and drive continuous process improvements for Software Quality Assurance and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and procedures. Adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards in the performance of all job responsibilities.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related field and 7 years of post-baccalaureate experience in quality assurance processes. Experience must include the following skills: understanding of quality assurance processes and testing methodology; software development process (SDLC); analytical and problem-solving skill; test planning and operations; creating effective test plans and metrics; and conducting risk assessments. The required skills do not need to be maintained over the full term of required experience.

Salary range: $129,688/year - $156,350/year

The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
