Host/Food Runner/Busser

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, enhancing their dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.

Duties

Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
Ensure that all orders are complete and presented in an appealing manner.
Assist servers with table settings and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
Address guest inquiries and provide exceptional customer service to enhance guest satisfaction.
Support the team during busy periods by helping with additional tasks as needed.
Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and ingredients to assist guests with questions.

Skills

Strong background in hospitality and food service environments.
Familiarity with POS systems for order management.
Excellent guest relations skills to ensure a positive dining experience.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong customer service orientation with a focus on helping others.
Previous experience in hotels or restaurants is preferred but not required.
Proficient phone etiquette for handling guest inquiries or reservations.

Pay: $9.89 - $14.00 per hour
