You will ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications through manual and automated testing.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on requirements and technical documents.
- Execute manual testing and automated test scripts to identify software issues.
- Collaborate with developers to diagnose and troubleshoot bugs and performance issues.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, system, UI/UX, and performance testing.
- Track and document defects using Jira or Bugzilla.
- Maintain and enhance the automated test suite and test environments.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups and sprint planning.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of experience in software testing or QA engineering.
- Proficiency with Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Postman, and Cypress.
- Experience with Git and GitHub.
- Strong understanding of the software testing lifecycle (STLC) and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Proficiency in SQL and testing within database environments.
- Experience writing and executing test cases, test scripts, and defect tracking.
- Exposure to Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Preferred Skills
- Working knowledge of API testing.
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter.
