As a Java & Golang Software Engineer at Deloitte, you will be a key member of our Delivery Team, engaged on a 1 year fixed-term employment You will leverage your expertise in Java8, Golang, and a diverse modern tech stack to develop robust, scalable application solutions. You will work independently to complete user stories, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software. Your responsibilities will span the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and design through to release, automation, and documentation.

Participate in release planning, providing Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) and Minimum Viable Product (MVP) estimates, and identifying key dependencies and risk areas.

Collaborate with architects to define technology roadmaps and solutions, focusing on incremental value delivery and building the right product.

Design and develop application components using Java8, Golang, and other languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, NodeJS, Python, and Groovy.

Develop and maintain automation pipelines and cloud infrastructure, utilizing tools such as Hashicorp Terraform (desired), Ansible, and Ansible Tower—writing collections, playbooks, and modules as needed.

Work closely with other developers within and across Delivery Pods to ensure consistency and quality of the final solution.

Perform unit testing to ensure developed work meets requirements before handover to Quality Assurance.

Follow change management processes for production deployments, coordinating and communicating with all relevant stakeholders.

Create and maintain technical documentation, including use cases, technical user stories, configuration specifications, and technical diagrams.

We do more than traditional business process outsourcing. We work shoulder-to-shoulder with clients and their customers, constantly adapting to the pace of change, to ideate, innovate, and embed continuous advantage at the heart of their operations. Proficiency in additional languages and frameworks such as TypeScript, JavaScript, NodeJS, Python, and Groovy.

Experience with cloud platforms, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD pipelines.

Hands-on experience with Ansible and Ansible Tower, especially in writing collections, playbooks, and modules; Ability to provide accurate development estimates and proactively identify risks.

Strong commitment to quality, best practices, and comprehensive documentation.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team to complete user stories and drive successful project outcomes.

The salary range for this position is $72,000 - $138,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
