We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior ETL QA Engineer with a strong focus on Python scripting. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in ETL testing, exceptional SQL skills, and extensive experience in Python scripting. You will be responsible for testing AWS S3 buckets, Glue jobs, and working with Snowflake, ensuring the quality and integrity of data through rigorous testing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform core ETL testing to validate data transformations and integrations.
- Utilize strong SQL skills to write complex queries for data validation.
- Develop and execute advanced Python scripts for automated testing of AWS S3 buckets and Glue jobs.
- Conduct thorough testing of Snowflake data warehouse solutions.
- Collaborate with ETL developers to understand data models, data mapping documents, ETL design, and coding.
- Test database systems including Oracle and SQL Server.
- Analyze requirements and create detailed test plans and test cases.
- Utilize test management tools to track and report testing activities.
- Communicate effectively with team members across multiple time zones.
- Apply strong QA methodologies to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Demonstrate flexibility with work timings to accommodate global team schedules.
- Strong requirement analysis skills.
- Cloud knowledge is a plus.
