Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual Tester to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test cases, identifying defects, validating application functionality, and ensuring software meets business and technical requirements before release.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements to develop effective test scenarios.
• Create and maintain detailed test cases, test scripts, and test data.
• Execute manual tests including functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and sanity testing.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects.
• Reproduce issues and provide clear defect documentation to development teams.
• Perform end-to-end testing across web and application platforms.
• Validate application functionality against business requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Participate in Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and other QA engineers.
• Perform regression testing after defect fixes and application enhancements.
• Conduct UI, usability, compatibility, and cross-browser testing.
• Validate APIs using tools such as Postman when required.
• Maintain testing documentation, test results, and defect reports.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production-release validation.
• Contribute to improving QA processes, testing standards, and documentation.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience in Manual Software Testing / Quality Assurance.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Experience creating and executing test cases and test scenarios.
• Strong knowledge of functional and regression testing.
• Experience with defect management and tracking tools.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with distributed and cross-functional teams.
