🧠 What You’ll Do

As a key member of our backend engineering team, you’ll:

• Design and maintain high-performance microservices using NodeJS and ExpressJS
• Build robust REST APIs and enable real-time communication via WebSockets
• Work with MongoDB for scalable data modeling and querying
• Collaborate across front-end and DevOps teams for seamless integration
• Deploy containerized services to Kubernetes clusters on Azure/AWS
• Ensure cloud-agnostic architecture for flexible customer hosting
• Implement secure authentication flows using OpenID Connect (AD, Google, Keycloak)
• Support production reliability and incident resolution
• Develop and maintain Honey, our proprietary orchestration language
• Integrate RabbitMQ for responsive, event-driven front-end experiences

🧰 What You Bring

• 8+ years in backend development, ideally with MERN stack experience
• 5+ years of hands-on NodeJS/ExpressJS in production
• Expertise in REST APIs, WebSockets, and MongoDB
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash) and CI/CD familiarity
• Deep knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud deployments (Azure/AWS)
• Experience with OpenID Connect and IAM integrations
• Exposure to healthcare standards like HIPAA, HL7, or FHIR is a plus
• Proven experience with RabbitMQ and distributed systems
• Bonus: Experience building interpreters/parsers or working with DSLs
