Join our dynamic team as a Contact Center Applications Tester, where your testing expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of applications such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, and Amazon Connect. You will be responsible for executing tests and accurately documenting results, including defect logging. Your skills in planning, constructing, and executing test scripts will drive the success of our software projects. With an eye for detail and strong problem-solving abilities, you will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives.

  • Collaborate closely with business, product, and development teams throughout the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), addressing business requirements, functional specifications, and performing integration and regression testing using industry-standard methodologies and tools.
  • Develop efficient test plans for new systems, enhancements, and problem resolutions.
  • Analyze system requirements and technical specifications to create comprehensive test cases, ensuring rigorous execution and documentation.
  • Document, evaluate, and track testing results to confirm that applications are defect-free.
  • Actively participate in quality assurance meetings, including walk-throughs, inspections, and user group discussions.
  • Engage in production implementation verification, taking responsibility for validating system quality.
  • Work with project teams to define quantitative metrics and techniques for assessing software quality.
  • Review products and services to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and government directives.
  • Utilize defect tracking tools to accurately log issues and track progress.
  • Create and maintain automated testing scripts when applicable.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Certification as a Tester -- Advanced Level (TTA, TA, and/or TM) is preferred.
  • 2-5 years of Information Technology experience, including requirements development, programming, software testing, technical writing, and customer support (Help Desk).

Other Job Specific Skills

  • Familiarity with CMMI Level II/III, IEEE standards, SDLC methodologies, and automation frameworks and tools, including defect tracking software.
  • Experience in customer support within a government context is valuable.
  • Ability to multitask across several projects with varying requirements.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, along with conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to navigate across multiple disciplines.
  • Knowledge of SQL and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
  • Possess a proactive approach with calmness under pressure.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues effectively.
  • Basic understanding of programming, object-oriented concepts, database fundamentals, and SQL.
  • Experience using integrated test management tools for defect tracking, test cases, and requirements traceability.
  • A strong initiative combined with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must exemplify a team-oriented mindset.
  • Familiarity with unit testing and automated testing techniques is a plus.

The compensation for this role will vary based on factors such as location, skill set, education level, certifications, client requirements, contract-specific affordability, government clearance, and years of experience. The salary range presented is a general guideline and may differ for each role. Monetary compensation is part of a broader benefits offering at ASM.
