Orlando- Block Dispatch

Growing Industry leader is seeking an experienced Ready-Mix Dispatcher to join our team.

Role

In this role you be part of the Block Dispatch team in the Orlando corporate dispatch office, supporting 3 locations in Florida.

Duties include

• Review delivery schedules against plant production forecasts, coordinate with Sales Team and Customers to fill gaps.
• Resolve customer inquiries / issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with sales, quality control and operations personnel on job, jobsite, staffing and other issues.
• Review daily delivery reports and collaborate with Sales and Operations Teams on order book composition, jobs needing additional review, order cancellations, and other dynamics.
• Coordinate with Block Operations Managers on material availability and production capacities by location.
• Other responsibilities as needed.
• Work schedule is M-F plus one Saturday per month.
• Overtime pay.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Any College work or other related training is a plus.
• 2-5 years of experience in Dispatch or closely related operations.
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations and practices.
• Computer systems capability. MS Office applications.
• Assertive, self-motivated and positive attitude.
• High attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills.
• Bi-lingual Spanish is desired and a plus, but not required.
